Great news – Wi-Fi password will be erased
The government has been told that smart devices are being used in millions of homes across the UK, most of which are password-protected and are not at risk.
The recommendation states that the government should ban the common password of smart devices used in homes and force companies to introduce a system where users cannot keep simple or common passwords.
According to the report, most companies allow the user to have a single password for their ease and installation, and then the buyer cannot change their password.
Digital, cultural, media and sports departments have instructed companies in their respective fields to allow the user to have their own password otherwise the company will be banned.
It is likely that a resolution will be submitted to the British Parliament in this regard and the law will be adopted as soon as possible to ensure the safety of the citizens.
Minister for Digital Mat Worms said, “Our new law will force companies to ensure the safety of Internet-connected devices and to revise their policy to protect the public.”
