Last week, we saw a Long teaser campaign for the Meizu 17 and 17 Pro, which revealed a lot about these upcoming devices. Now, we find an interesting thing that Meizu is working on an update that will enable a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Meizu 17 and 17 Pro to get 120 Hz
The company is currently testing this update, and if the update runs successfully, the company will make it public. It is important to note that the 90Hz screen refresh mode is with 180Hz touch sampling but it is not clear that it will go up to 240Hz after the update is delivered.
Meizu is launching the two upcoming devices in China today, but the company has not shared a word on when it will make them available globally. Currently, however, the company is helping consumers find phones on the company’s official store.
According to previous rumors, both the devices will have a motherboard: Kona which indicates that the phone will run on Snapdragon 865 chipset. This indicates that the new Meso phones will come with 5G support.
The Meizu 17 Pro comes with 27W wireless charging support and 40W wired charging. This phone has UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. The 17 Pro comes with a quad camera setup with a color flash located in the middle of a 64MP main camera.
