This announcement was made by Mark Zuckerberg for full-time Facebook employees worldwide. There has not yet been a clear announcement from Facebook for part-time and contract employees.
In his message to Facebook employees, Mark Zuckerberg says his company is also considering giving employees extra vacations so they can stay with their families and take care of them.
He also said Facebook full-time employees would be given an “extra” rating in the first half of 2020, meaning they would be eligible for more bonuses at the end of the current half.
It should be noted that Facebook has already announced a grant of $ 100 million to 30,000 small business entities so that these companies can pay their employees who are unable to work for any reason at the current global crisis.
