Twitter’s new feature will relieve consumers of mental distress
Micro-blogging social website Twitter has announced the introduction of a new feature to provide users with peace of mind and atmosphere. This feature allows users to turn off the replay option on their tweet.
Users on social media platforms, including Twitter, often face unnecessary criticism, trolling, and harassing glitches that lead to mental distress. Twitter plans to address the issue and propose a solution.
During the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, a Twitter representative announced that they were introducing the ‘Block All Replay’ feature. This will allow users to set up the Tweet in such a way as to who can replay and who can’t.
Facebook already has an option in which users can open comments for ‘Friends’ only. In addition, the privacy setting of the post can be customized by the user.
According to Twitter officials, the new feature aims to provide users with a secure platform and meaningful discussion opportunities.
Earlier, Twitter introduced the feature ‘Hide’, but other users could know that this comment was hidden. This new feature will pave the way for unwanted comments.
Twitter did not specify when the feature would launch for general users
