Vivo has extended the warranty period for its smartphones in Pakistan
Vivo, a world-renowned smart phone maker, has announced that Vivo’s customer service centers in Pakistan will be closed temporarily on government orders to tackle the spread of the Corona virus in the country.
However, Vivo has extended the warranty period for its smartphones to help consumers cope. The warranty for all users whose Vivo, smartphone expires between 18 March and 30 May 2020 is being extended to 31 May 2020.
“Even at this critical Time, we are introducing this new extended warranty policy, reaffirming our commitment to provide the best service to consumers so that consumers will not have to worry.” Vivo Pakistan director of customer services Kevin Jiang said in his statement.
This new policy will remain in effect until the next notice, while users can receive all guidance and service information from View’s official website and social media channels.
Vivo has already done enough to prevent the outbreak. All Vivo offices in Pakistan have been closed periodically and all employees are working from their homes. In addition, Vivo has suspended all of its new product launch events from time to time.
